SA: Man jailed for killing girl in high speed crash

ADELAIDE, Feb 3 AAP - An Adelaide man will spend three years in jail for killing a
nine-year-old girl in a high speed road crash.

Jarrod Damian Payne, 32, was sentenced in the South Australian District Court today
after earlier pleading guilty to causing death by dangerous driving.

The father-of-five was speeding through a red light at a southern suburbs intersection
on January 13, 2003 when his car collided with another vehicle containing Alice Ralph
and her daughters Lauren, 11, and Abigail, 9.
