WA: Gunman holding family hostage in Perth

A gunman is holding five members of a family hostage in Perth's northern suburbs.

Police say the stand-off began shortly after 10 last night (WST), when a woman emerged
from the Wanneroo Road house in Balga with a gunshot wound to her arm.

She called police, telling them four children and two men, including the gunman, were
still in the house.
