Vic; Hulls back to work in 3 weeks

MELBOURNE, April 3 AAP - Victorian Attorney-General Rob Hulls will return to work
in three weeks after his release from hospital over the weekend.

Mr Hulls was in hospital for two weeks after suffering a "rare inflammatory condition".

Specifics of the illness - described by the hospital as being not contagious or infectious
- were withheld at Mr Hulls' request following the diagnosis.

No more details regarding his illness were available.

"He is recovering at home and treatment is continuing,"a government spokeswoman said.

The passage through parliament of key legislation increasing the rights of gay couples
has been delayed while Mr Hulls has been ill.
